Here you can find a list of some side projects l’ll be working during 2024. Every single project is intentionally chosen either to provide business value and/or technical/UI/UX skills.
1.) Los Elefantes Beach House
Context: I’m the host of a small beach apartment that I rent through Airbnb and Booking. This apartment is located in the heart of a touristic area in one of the Canary Islands
Business Objectives: Create a brand/website that stands out from competitors and offer travellers a non-typical experience in their accommodation. To create a powerful brand, a website with special attention to details is needed. It must reflect the philosophy and the type of clients the brand is aiming for.
More importantly, the website is an enabler tool that will allow clients to book directly and safe important commission fees that are impose by platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.
Technical Objectives:
- Become proficient with JAMStack and deep dive in technologies like Nuxt and Strapi.
- Become proficient with animations libraries such as GSAP.
UI/UX Objectives:
- Design a non-typical layout. Something you could tell straightforward that is not a typical WordPress template.
- Interaction Design: Focus on animation and small interaction details.
- Build a design case and expose the reasoning behind important design decision’s.

2.) Restaurant Savoy
Context: My family runs a restaurant called Savoy at the heart of Playa del Inglés, in the Canary Island.
Business Objectives: Create website that showcases the restaurant in every single aspect.
Learning Objectives: Keep getting proficient with JAMStack, Nuxt and Strapi
